Naja Ankarfeldt researches how life abounds with similar forms found in different species, or on different scales. Naja has an enduring interest in these resonances, and the connections they reveal. Resonances between brain and gut; skin and grass; rock and cell wall. Drawing attention to our intimacy with other species and spaces, by inviting us into a strange kind of mediated intimacy with her body.
Ankarfeldt´s practice unfolds across design, technology and the life sciences. She works with exhibition development and dissemination to produce experiences and span interactive installations and interdisciplinary research.
